6 Nations at The Waterloo
The 6 Nations kicked off last weekend, with Ireland drawing against Wales in the Aviva. Not a bad start to the tournament considering Wales is one of the strongest teams in the 6 Nations this year. There was a great atmosphere in the pub before, during and after the match, with the match played just down the road from us in the Aviva Stadium. Baggot Street is one of main roads down to the Aviva and the atmosphere in the area on match days is electric. The interest in rugby in Dublin 4 is sky high and even for away matches and the other matches in the tournament we get a great crowd in to the pub.
This weekend starts off with France v Ireland at 2.25pm followed by Wales v Scotland at 4.50pm on Saturday and the Sunday match between Italy and England kicks off at 2pm.
So why don't you get a group of friends together, come down for a Full Irish (or anything else on our brunch menu for that matter), a couple of pints and an afternoon of the 6 Nations rugby on Saturday (and Sunday as well).
If there is a large group of you, drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 01-6600650 and we'll see if we can look after you.
