New Craft Beers @ The Waterloo
We love our craft beers here at The Waterloo and we are always on the look out for new beers to add to our extensive range.
The newest additions to our craft beer range are Black Sheep's Pathmaker, Hop City's Hopbot IPA, Timmermans Kriek Lambicus & Celis White. These are 4 very different beers.
Black Sheep are a UK based brewery, from north Yorkshire and we have taken on their pale ale, Pathmaker. This single hop pale ale is brewed with Chinook Hops and represents adventure, vision and a healthy dose of risk. It is a beer that we believe will appeal to curious beer enthusiasts. With a juicy hop and malty mouth feel it has a crisp and moreish finish.
Hop City is a Canadian brewery and their Hopbot IPA is an amazing IPA. It is quite strong at 7.1% ABV, but it has great citrus and tropical aromas and flavours. Brewed with 5 different types of hops: Citra, Centennial, Mosaic, Summit and Willamette; it is perfectly balanced by a solid malt backbone.
Timmermans is a Belgain brewery that dates back to 1702. Their Kriek Lambicus is a cherry beer, with plenty of sweetness yet a very refreshing beer. The flavour is entirely dedicated to cherry which reminds you of summer... a great summer beer (here's hoping we have a great summer ahead of us).
Celis White oringates from 1965 and is a Belgian style Witbier. It is a light and hazy yellow wheat beer, ideal for sipping during the hot summer months (again let's hope we get a good summer this year). An easy-drinking session beer laced with flavors of orange peel, spice and coriander.
Will you be trying any of these beers next time you are in with us on Baggot Street? The Waterloo is definitely the bar on Baggot Street to get your craft beers at.
